LOLA T492 V8 historic replica project SOLD

Due to a lack of time, our stranded project Lola T492 replica is up for sale. The goal was to create a V8-powered historic 70's look sports prototype monster for competing in sportscar championships and/or hill-climbing.

See attached photos. The last photo is not ours, but an example of what it would look like.

It's a self-build chassis made from chrome-molybdenum tubing.

The chassis has a Toyota V8 1ufze 4-liter engine mated to an Audi 01X 6-speed gearbox/transaxle.

The chassis is as good as complete, but needs the welding completed (it's tacked for now) and some diagonals added. The welding can be completed by us at extra cost.

The suspension is as good as complete, but misses suspension units.

Driveshafts are included and also need welding.

So with a bit of work, the rolling chassis would be complete and ready for paneling.

- various drawings and jigs for the produced parts

It's a super-cool project that will turn out to be a very unique and almost historic car replica. It needs someone with a bit of time on their hands to finish it up. The alternative is that we split it up and sell in its' component parts, but we'd really rather someone else bring it across the finish line after all the work we put in so far!
