LANCIA REPETTO 2 LITRE F3 ENGINE

For sale rare Lancia Repetto 2 liter Formula 3 engine from 1974.

Built by Giuseppe "Pino" Repetto of Alessandria in Italy from the engine of the Lancia Beta 1800, it meets the 1974 FIA regulations for the new 2-litre Formula 3. 

This type of engine had its hour of glory when Renzo Zorzi won the F3 Grand Prix in Monaco in 1975 on a GRD equipped with a Repetto engine. 

The engine has not run for more than 20 years and needs to be overhauled. 

It is complete with dry sump, Kugelfischer guillotine injection, exhaust, air box with restrictor, steel crankshaft and connecting rods, forged pistons, Magnetti Marelli electronic ignition, flywheel, clutch and spacer for Hewland Mk8 gearbox.
