New uber-Ducati 1199 Superleggera in limited numbers, at an exorbitant price and with incredible

performance data.

Only 500 numbered units of Project 1201 will be produced. The 1199 Superleggera is the most

exclusive and extreme Ducati ever. With an unprecedented power output of over 200 hp in roadlegal

form (over 205 hp with race exhaust) and a weight of 166 kg including all fluids without fuel (as

light as a World Superbike Championship bike), it has by far the best power-to-weight ratio of any

road-legal motorcycle.

Not surprisingly, Ducati test rider Alessandro Valia's lap time of 1m 54.9s on the 1199 Superleggera

is the fastest ever recorded by a road-legal Ducati on the Mugello circuit.
