VW Scirocco 2 53B Rennwagen Tracktool Youngtimer

I am offering my Scirocco Model 53b racing car for sale here as I am changing cars for next season. The Scirocco will be racing at the Westfahlentrophy at the Nürburgring on 16–18 October, and you are welcome to view it there in person.

Or, of course, you can view it before or after at my place. DMSB vehicle registration certificate is available. Roadworthiness certificate is available; most modifications are registered – something that’s impossible these days. Overhauled Weber twin-carburettor system with Debilas manifold (registered). Exhaust manifold with 2½-inch exhaust system, registered. Additional Bilstein sports suspension (registered). Power upgrade registered, etc. 1.8-litre 16-valve KR engine with 2Y gearbox, featuring a new input shaft oil seal. Left-hand, long drive shaft new, oil seals new.

For those items not registered due to being used purely for racing, the registered components are also in stock and included with purchase. The interior is almost complete.

I built up the Scirocco myself last winter. Pleie Youngtimer-approved roll cage with certificate, lots of new parts.

Sandtler 6-point harness from 2026. Brakes completely new, fuel tank new, including all hoses, pumps, catch tank etc.; sintered clutch with torsion springs completely new. H&R coilover suspension, recently serviced by H&R in preparation for the next race. Water pump completely new, all belts new. Adjustable camshaft sprockets. Rust-free bodywork, Unibal front axle and much more. A reliable, competitive Scirocco that’s ready to race straight away. Fitted with 3 sets of rims, rain tyres and slicks.

GLP Pro, slalom, youngtimer, hill climb, NAVC or track day – extremely versatile.
