This 997 Cup was owned by Romain Dumas—through his team, RD Limited—and competed in the 2016 edition of the legendary Pikes Peak Hill Climb in the United States. It was driven by Raphaël Astier, who delivered an impressive performance by finishing second in his class.

To this day, the car retains several authentic reminders of that event:
