Puch 250 SGS Super

I am selling my complete Puch 250 SGS Super conversion project.

It is an original 1957 Puch 250 SG (the original engine is still available and runs, but should be overhauled). 

As part of the conversion, I completely rebuilt a second engine and fitted it with a Mahle aluminium cylinder (recast with grey cast iron liners) and converted it to twin carburettors.

Since then, well over €10,000 has been invested in the Puch. 

The gear ratio on the pinion and chain wheel has been changed. GOL sports pistons in the first oversize (45.5) have been installed. The silencers are the original pots with Burgess inserts. Two Puch P32 carburettors are used for ventilation, both currently with their own float chambers. 

I have used/use the Puch mainly for hill climbs. It has German TÜV certification, is registered and has working lights and brakes. 

Otherwise, the motorbike is in unrestored original condition. It has only been repaired and refurbished, but never completely restored. The rear mudguard has been cut, but there is a second complete one, as well as two different front mudguards.

There were various mounting options for the silencers (top, bottom, etc.). On this Puch, the lower mounting brackets were cut off at some point and would need to be reconstructed. 

I am only selling the Puch as a complete package with all parts, original engine, etc., as I want to give up the project completely and do something new. 

I would also be willing to trade it for another interesting project in exchange for compensation.
