(Electro-) Mechanic (m/f/d)

ByKolles Racing, founded in 2000, is a German motorsport team led by team principal Collin Kolles and based in Greding, nearby Nuermberg. We are developing a Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) that competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Our team stands for passion, innovation, and excellence in motorsport. With over 20 years of experience in Formula 1, LMP1, LMP2, DTM, and Formula racing, we are now taking on one of the greatest challenges in motorsport – the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In addition to the continuous development and operation of the Le Mans Hypercar ""Vandervell 680,"" we are working on other exciting projects, both on the racetrack and the road.

- Continuous communication with the chief mechanic and chief engineer regarding open tasks 

- Assembly of test vehicles and prototypes for road use

- Assembly and maintenance of race cars both in the workshop and at test and race events under the supervision of experienced personnel

- Assembly, replacement, post-processing, and repair of mechanical and/or electrical components and wiring harnesses under the supervision of our experienced chief mechanic

- Conducting measurement-based experiments as an electromechanic or mechatronics technician under the supervision of our experienced personnel

- Completed technical training, preferably in the field of mechanics, is highly advantageous

- Several years of professional experience are an advantage

- Technical expertise with a strong understanding of the automotive sector is beneficial

- Experience on electric vehicles is an advantage

- Experience in working with wiring diagrams and/or technical drawings

- High motivation to identify and solve problems quickly and practically within a team

- Basic English skills in speaking and writing required

- Willingness to travel

- Teamwork and innovation skills, as well as enthusiasm for motorsport

- Optionally, a truck driver's license (C+CE) would be highly beneficial

- Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic motorsports environment.
