Trackside Support and Data Engineering

I offer technical support, data engineering and strategic consultancy for racing teams across various motorsport series. The primary focus of my work is the precise acquisition, processing and analysis of timing data. I supplement this with in-depth telemetry analysis and operational race strategy.

The service encompasses the planning, setup and seamless operation of all technical systems a racing team requires at the track.

Timing and trackside support: Primary focus on live timing, pit wall software integration and the continuous monitoring of incidents and flags throughout the entire race weekend.

Weather and strategy: Integration of precise weather forecasts, development of race strategy and general data advisory for informed decision making at the track.

Telemetry and data: Provision and analysis of MoTeC i2 Pro workspaces, math channels as well as GPS and OBD2 hardware.

Software and systems: Development of bespoke team software and reverse engineering of proprietary timing and telemetry protocols.

Event support: Flexible coverage of individual races, defined blocks of events or the entire season.

Background:

The foundation of my work is built on twelve years of personal karting experience and extensive practical experience as a pit crew member in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. I combine operational trackside work with methodical planning and risk management drawn from my professional background in the financial sector.
