Purchasing Agent (m/f/d)

ByKolles Racing, founded in 2000, is a German motorsport team led by team principal Collin Kolles and based in Greding, nearby Nuermberg. We are developing a Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) that competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Our team stands for passion, innovation, and excellence in motorsport. With over 20 years of experience in Formula 1, LMP1, LMP2, DTM, and Formula racing, we are now taking on one of the greatest challenges in motorsport – the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In addition to the continuous development and operation of the Le Mans Hypercar ""Vandervell 680,"" we are working on other exciting projects, both on the racetrack and the road. 

We are currently looking for motivated Technical Purchasing Agents to support our team

- Preparing tenders and conducting requests for vehicle parts, custom manufacturing, and materials  

- Obtaining and evaluating offers, as well as making preliminary supplier selections  

- Implementing standardizations and optimizations in the procurement process  

- Supplier sourcing, evaluation, and development, including independent negotiation and drafting of contractual terms  

- Coordinating suppliers regarding costs and deadlines, as well as analyzing them within the respective department  

- Managing logistics, organizing shipping, and transportation  

- Completed degree in industrial engineering, technically oriented business administration, or a comparable qualification with additional technical training  

- Several years of professional experience in purchasing technical parts 

- Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written  

- Technical expertise and understanding in the automotive sector and component manufacturing  

- Project management skills required  

- Independent working style, strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail  

- Professional communication skills – both written and in-person  

- Commitment, flexibility, assertiveness, and a confident demeanor  

- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written  

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
