1963 Ford Anglia 105E, ex Mark Shipman & Mark Hales car.
As raced by John Pugsley in 2012/13 in the HSCC Historic Touring Car Series, claiming the first ever rear wheel drive class win and 3rd overall.
Weighing approx 600kg with steel body shell with glass fibre bonnet, boot, doors and wings and Lexan windows.
Fitted in 2007 with a new Advanced Fuel Systems Polyurethane Fuel Cell which comprises Facet pump in the boot.
At present fitted with 1500 downdraft Holbay/Philspeed screamer. Or available with Geoff Richardson built the engine creating a 1300 dry sumped pre-cross flow GR010102 to full Cosworth specification. It includes Arrow con-rods and Twin 45 Webers producing 154bhp @ 8100rpm and 105 lbs/ft torque @ 6000rpm.
The transmission is a 3 rail close-ratio, straight cut gearbox with Tony Thompson magnesium bellhousing and gearbox casing, aluminium tailshaft and differential. Uprated halfshafts are also fitted.
Stopping comes courtesy of Wilwood 4 pot calipers with vented discs at front, and Wilwood 2 pot calipers with solid discs at the rear. Bias pedal box. Remote fluid reservoir.
The suspension is Leda 2.25" coilovers with alloy hubs at front, and Leda uprated dampers with remote reservoirs and single leaf springs at the rear.
The wheels are 5.5Jx13" Minilight style with CR65 Dunlop racing tyres.
The functional interior includes Stack dials, quick release steering wheel, Sparco bucket seat, four point harness, weld-in roll cage built to FIA spec and tunnel mounted switchgear.
